Habits and rituals that have a positive impact on culture

by | Mar 1, 2022

“According to a Deloitte study, 92% of executives and 88% of employees believe a distinct workplace culture is important to business success.”

As the latest wave of the pandemic subsides in some parts of the world, we’ve been given the green light to head back to our workplaces. We are being asked to put on pants, brush our teeth before midday and ease up on the consumption of garlic.

I’ve been chatting to other HR professionals and leaders and my favourite question right now is ‘what habits and rituals were built during remote working that will have an impact on culture once we return to the office, workshop or warehouse?”

Cultures across almost every organisation are going to see a reinvention, and leaders need to be at the forefront, guiding and setting up the right environment for a positive culture to flourish.

So what’s coming up for you?

What rituals and habits have you noticed?

And how do we take the best from these to become even better with our hybrid ways of working?
